over the weekend, i went to the Kroq Weenie Roast y Fiesta. w00t! it was awesome @_@ the best day of meh life so...review time! o.o

Getting There: 2/10
ok, this sucked. we tried to get in but somehow, our tickets weren't working, so we had to be sent to the box office to check it, they say it doesn't work. we wait like an hour of trying to figure out what was wrong, so we go back in line to try again, but to a DIFFERENT ticket person, and they just checked and said it was ok. so the crappy service made us miss like the first couple bands @_@ So the ones I can't review are Rock Kills Kid, The Academy Is..., Matchbook Romance, and Wolfmother. sorry. blame the workers o.o

Fiesta- 10/10
the food was yummy! lots of good stuff they even had sombreros and fake mustaches XD and i was like about 1 or 2 feet away from Ville from HIM @_@

Atreyu- 10/10
yesh, these guys owned could've played a few more songs rather than their singles, but hey. it still owned. Lead singer screamed really good. He made everyone take off their shirts and swing it in the air XD

Main Stage (seats) 6/10
The angle was pretty good. It just lost some points because I wasn't in the middle to get perfect view, and there was so much ciggies and marijuana blowing through my face. felt uncomfortable XD Plus I was sitting next to this hyper woman that was 32 years old XD but she's awesome at rocking out. We kinda made good friends XD

HIM- 10/10

Ah, HIM ^_^ i love these guys so friggin much they did an awesome preformance. Ville even added a little screaming during the ending of some songs. There was also smoke everywhere. Speaking of which, he was smoking while singing so it was funny XD

Damian "Jr. Gong" Marley 5/10

ehh, sorry. I don't really have a right to vote on this guy since I haven't really had a chance to listen to his songs. He just...didn't pull that good a performance, in my opinion. sowwy ;

Taking Back Sunday- 10/10

These guys kick ass Did a pretty damn good job. Great singing and everything. not much to say just...they did good XD

Panic! At The Disco 10/10

These guys are so awesome. I love all their songies There was a part when Urie looked at the people in the terrace/upper levels (that's me ) and said "Someone should get a D*ck Slap for putting you guys up there. Look at all the space down here, That's Bullsh*t!" he stuck up for us. w00t Then there was a part where he got a bloody nose, and he said it was just someone else's blood and they got a lucky punch when he was in a fight XD

She Wants Revenge- 7/10

Eh. They did good. Just preformance and preformance, not that much goin on. I like SWR, but...just wasn't as good as I thought it would be. sowwy

Dashboard Confessional- 6/10
They did okay, but they ended way too soon and...i only know a few songs. shut up ; They started with Hands Down and ended with Vindicated....basically the only two songs I know by them XD

Rob Zombie- 10/10

He was so awesome. He really got involved with the crowd. Like, he saw someone with a cellphone and noticed she was filming him or something and he said "Don't make me grab that cellphone, lady!" XD and then he noticed that ppl only reacted whenever he got into the crowd, not on stage. so he got this guy named Fred to come over and build a small stage in the middle of the crowd XD and the best part, when he noticed not that many people were standing up to join the music, he got pissed and scream "You guys are all f**king lazy! I hate lazy people. CONSIDER YOURSELVES EMO FAGGOTS!" xD!!! Everyone cheered when he said that XD ah Rob Zombie.

Angels & Airwaves- 7/10

They did okay. Just...well, they're new so I can't really say if they're good or not preformance was good. pretty colors. @.@ and they made a tribute to the 9/11 thing, plus the fact that Tom's brother is in the war right now so....good luck with him. There was also a part where Tom's mic went out and he tried his hardest to ignore it XD

AFI- 10/10

These guys friggin owned @_@ everyone got up and went crazy! Everyone sang along. I think even the handicapped people stood up. that's how good it was XD And when it ended, Davey said in a few minutes, rock and roll will change forever. people wanted to know who it was so.....

Secret Surprise Guest- 10/10

DAVE GROHL! He was the guest! He got an acoustic guitar and was all by himself so he played a couple foo fighter songs on acoustic guitar. He actually did a hard rock riff during "best of you" on an acoustic guitar. this guy's a genius @_@

Matisyahu- 6/10

He was pretty good. Not knowing too much into his music though. only his first 2 singles. He's an AMAZING beatboxer @_@ sounds just like a dj and the best part, during the instrumental break of "King Without A Crown", some guy ran upstage and the security had to tackle him onstage XD!! It was awesome. Matisyahu pretended it was nothing and then when introducing the next band, Stryker (my fav DJ on kroq) said "I'm Stryker and that was my dad that got tackled!" XD he was joking obviously but still, that was an awesome scene to see

RED HOT CHILI PEPPERS- 100000000000000000000000000/10

THESE GUYS DID SUCH AN AMAZING PERFORMANCE @_@ They opened with "Can't Stop" and then with Dani California, and were so awesome Flea was dressed so colorful and said "I feel like candy! " xD and then the guitarist, I think his name's John, did his own cover of a Bee Gee's song XD He was pretty good since he has such a high voice Everyone was so hyper, singing along to all the words, and the drunk girl next to me knew all the lyrics so it was like harmony when singing XD but yea, the chili peppers did such a kick ass job. They ended with Give It Away.

Overall- 10/10
this event was the best concert I ever had in my whole life. It even beat greenday and system of a down combined Oh...except for the fact that I had to pee really bad and we were stuck in the parking lot for about 2 hours so....it sucked @.@ But the concert, un-friggin-believable @_@ I'd do anything to go back *sigh* oh well. It's a good memory to have. W00T! rock on people \m/
